I found RS Guitar
Works
last week when I was surfing around. If you're into relic
guitars, man, their work is something else. My favorite is the Played But
Loved LP. Incredible stuff.

In fact, the subtle shading that transitions its upper bout to the lower is
something I REALLY want to incorporate into my current build (italian/
mahogany) if I can figure out how to work the subtleties. I know it's a
regular burst on this LP, but picturing it on an acoustic without the lower
bout having darker edges (in other words, having it not be the
typical center weighted gradient) has my mouth watering.

For me, it's the same reason I like sephia or black and white photographs.
